A woman has been arrested after leading police on a car chase at around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Police say the chase began on 40 Hwy. and Blue Ridge Blvd. in Independence, Mo., where the driver led police to 55th St. and Ward Parkway in Kansas City, Mo.
The driver was eventually halted when stop sticks blew out her tires. The woman then bailed out of the car, but a K-9 unit located the driver and bit her.
The suspect has been taken into custody with only minor injuries. Charges are pending.
