A Kansas City man faces murder charges in the shooting death of Javon Looney.
Justin G. Harrison, 27, is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action.
He's accused of killing Looney and injuring another victim on July 14 at a home in the 5700 block of E. 39th St.
Witnesses that night said a man got out of a green Firebird with a handgun, walked up to the victims, started arguing with them and shot them several times. He then started to drive away in the vehicle, but stopped to fire more shots.
A witness identified Harrison as the shooter.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals, where Looney died from his injuries.
Prosecutors said they've requested a bond of $750,000.
