Kansas City, Missouri police are investigating a homicide Thursday morning.
On Wednesday just after 11 p.m., police responded to the 1100 block of East 66th Street on a sound of shots call.
When officers arrived, they found a female victim inside a vehicle in a residential driveway. She had apparent gunshot wounds.
The Kansas City Fire Department responded and declared the victim deceased at the scene.
