A man has been pronounced dead after being shot on the 10100 block of Raytown Road on Friday evening.
Kansas City police reported to the area at 4:50 p.m. Friday on a shooting call.
The victim, who has now been identified as Marc Bivins of Lee's Summitt, was found on the street and transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Later, Bivins was declared dead by hospital personnel.
Police are asking the community for tips about the case.
