Kansas City police searching for suspect in Arvest Bank robbery

Kansas City police are searching for a man they say robbed a bank on Tuesday. 

The robbery allegedly occurred at Arvest Bank on Highway 40. Police say a man demanded cash and threatened that he had a weapon. He fled the bank on foot, walking east on Highway 40 with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one is injured.

The suspect was described as a white man in his late 20s to early 30s. He's approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and appeared to wear about 190 pounds. He was wearing a black ball cap, black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, red t-shirt and white shoes at the time of the robbery.
