KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police are working to identify a man suspected in the August 2018 killing of a 26-year-old woman.

Police on Tuesday released surveillance video, saying the man shown in the video is considered a suspect in the deadly shooting on Aug. 5, 2018, near East 89th Street and Troost Avenue. Shanterria Edwards was found shot to death inside a vehicle near the Legacy Apartments complex.

According to police, the man “hung around” the apartment complex for several hours before the shooting.
