KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating a deadly shooting Wednesday morning.
At 8:07 a.m., police officers were called to Independence Avenue and Elmwood for a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a shooting victim with no signs of life. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Witnesses said the victim was talking with at least one other person when he was shot, according to police.
There is no suspect description at this time.
