KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A suspicious death has prompted a homicide investigation in Kansas City, Missouri.
KCPD officers were dispatched shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Friday to the 1200 block of Winchester Avenue for an ambulance call of unknown nature.
Inside a residence at that location, officers located a man who was dead and “the cause of death appeared to be suspicious in nature,” according to the KCPD. A few hours later, police identified the man as 39-year-old Jonathan Martinez.
No suspects have been identified and no arrest has been made.
