Kansas City, Missouri, police investigating Easter homicide

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police are searching for the person responsible for an early morning homicide.

Police said they were called to 39th and Main just after 3:00 a.m.

When they arrived, they found 33-year old Daniel Washington shot inside a vehicle. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.

Officers were told the shooting occurred in the 4000 block of Agnes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide unit 816-234-5043 or call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.

Information leading to an arrest could result in up to a $25,000 cash reward.
