UPDATE: Police have identified the victim as Hubert A. Holmes, 21.
Holmes was fatally shot near Armour and Harrison in Kansas City, Missouri, early Monday morning.
Police were called to the 3400 block of Harrison Street around 2:30 a.m. following reports of shots being fired.
Upon arrival, officers located the body of a man in his 20's outside of a home.

Security guards did try to revive the victim, but the man passed away from his injuries.
The gunman is on the loose and authorities say they do not have any suspect information.
