Man dead in shooting on Barnett Avenue, KCK police say

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Kansas, police were investigating after one man was killed in a shooting on Thursday night.

Around 7:50 p.m., officers responded to the shooting in the 3400 block of Barnett Avenue. A man was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound, according to police.

On June 10, police identified the victim as Narbu Tamang, 26, of Kansas City, Kansas.

Police also said that one suspect was taken into custody.
