KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE, April 23 | The victim was identified as 19-year-old Terrell Maxwell of Kansas City, Kansas.
ORIGINAL STORY, April 21 | Kansas City, Kansas, police were called for a death investigation just after 1:30 a.m. in the 600 block of South 71st Terrace.
Officers arrived and found a man in his early 20s dead from a gunshot wound.
No suspect information was immediately available.
