KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a shooting in the 900 block of Ohio Avenue.
Officers responded to a shots-fired call shortly after 6:30 a.m. to investigate a possible rolling gun battle in the area of North Sixth Street and Tauromee Avenue.
Additional calls led officers to the scene on Ohio Avenue, where a man was found dead inside a white, four-door vehicle.
Police are looking for another vehicle that is believed to be involved.
The victim has yet to be released, but KCK police said a Hispanic male in his 30s was found dead in the backseat from a gunshot wound.
This is the 29th homicide in KCK this year.
