1 found dead inside KCK home Tuesday; police investigating

UPDATE, 12:30 p.m. Oct. 1 | Kansas City, Kansas, police on Thursday identified the victim as 43-year-old Lolester Mitchell of KCK.

Police also said Thursday that suspects in the case were in custody.

ORIGINAL, Sept. 29 | Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating the city’s latest homicide on Tuesday.

A police spokeswoman said that officers were called to a home in the 2200 block of Silver Court around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. A male was found dead inside the residence.

Police said the death appeared to be a homicide. Officers were still at the scene two hours later.

No other details were immediately released.
