Possible KCK kidnapping victim found safe Sunday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Kansas, police said Sunday night a woman is safe after possibly being kidnapped after a murder.

Laneia Taylor went to a KCK police station Sunday and talked with detectives, according to KCK police.

The search continues for Kenneth N. Crowley, 27, the person of interest in a murder and the possible kidnapping of Taylor.

Police say the homicide happened on Saturday at a house in the 1800 block of Minnesota Avenue.

Officers found a man in his early 40s dead inside the house.

The victim's name has not been released.

Taylor lived in the home where police found the murder victim, police said.

Crowley may be driving a dark blue, 2006 Hyundai Azera with Kansas license plate 878 JAD.
