KCK police seek 14-year-old in connection with shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Kansas, police are searching for a 14-year-old in connection with a shooting last month.

KCKPD officers were called shortly before 2:45 p.m. on April 12 to the 2500 block of Nebraska Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a black male suffering from as gunshot wound.

Police released a photo of Leland Dixon, 14, on Friday, and said they want to speak with him in relation to the shooting, according to a release.
