KCK police: Man dies in shooting near 76th, Troup

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man died in an early morning shooting on Tuesday near North 76th Street and Troup Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, police said.

Shortly after 3 a.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of North 76th Street on reports of a man yelling outside and shooting a gun.

When they arrived at the scene, officers found a man in his late 20s dead from an apparent gunshot wound. His death is being investigated as a homicide.

The man's name has not been released.
