KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a homicide that happened late Monday night.
It happened in the 1100 block of Metropolitan Avenue just after 11:15 p.m.
KCKPD officers were dispatched to a shooting and arrived to find a person with life-threatening injuries.
He has been identified as 17-year-old Jesus Abarca of Kasnas City, Kansas.
He was taken to the hospital where he died.
The shooting is under investigation.
