KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Investigators in the Kansas City, Kan. Police Department executed “several” search warrants Friday on the Kansas City, Kan. Public School District.
In a two-sentence news release, a police spokesman said the warrants were related to an investigation that involved a student victim.
Police declined to provide additional information as to what buildings or how many people might have been involved.
David Smith, a spokesman with the school district, confirmed to 41 Action News the district was aware of the warrants but was not able to provide additional information.
