KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City, Missouri, nonprofit that takes Christmas presents to foster children might not be able to make deliveries this year.

On Nov. 12, a FosterAdopt Connect employee reported that the group’s box truck was stolen from a storage facility in the 9400 block of Holmes Street. Without the truck, which is valued at roughly $30,000, volunteers will need to find different means to gather donations and take them to the distribution location.

FosterAdopt Connect works with Community Connection Youth Project and Kinship Navigator to help foster children and families in the metro year round.

Anyone with information is asked to contact FosterAdopt Connect at 816-350-0215.
