KCPD, ATF offering reward in Operation LeGend arson investigation

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department and the local Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are asking for help identifying a man they believe is responsible for setting a semi-truck and trailer on fire.

The fire happened on the night of Aug. 15, near 1226 Chestnut Avenue in KCMO.

The case is one of several arson incidents being investigated as part of Operation LeGend, according to the department.

The departments are offering up to a $2,500 to anyone with information.
