KCPD investigate homicide after man found shot to death in car

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man was found shot to death in a car Tuesday night in Kansas City, Missouri.

Police responded to an injury crash call around 9 p.m. at East 29th Street and Indiana Avenue.

Officers found a vehicle crashed into a home there with the occupant deceased.

KCPD officers believed the injuries to the victim were suspicious, so the death is being investigated as a homicide.

Police identified the shooting victim Thursday as 38-year-old Charles Blakey.
