UPDATE, 10:25 a.m. Tuesday | Kansas City, Missouri, police now say the man's death is being investigated as a homicide.
Detectives determined the man, who has not been identified, was stabbed to death, police said Tuesday.
No one is in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
ORIGINAL | Kansas City, Missouri, police are investigating a suspicious death that occurred Monday night in the Northland.
A KCPD spokesperson said officers responded around 4:45 p.m. to the 2100 block of Northeast Parvin Road for a "reported medical nature unknown" call.
A deceased man was located in the home.
Homicide detectives gathered information at the scene Monday night.
