KCPD investigates shooting at Independence Avenue, Olive Street

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department responded to a shooting Saturday morning at Independence Avenue and Olive Street in Kansas City, Missouri.

Officers arrived to the scene around 8:48 a.m. and located one victim with critical injuries.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition.

No suspect is in custody at this time.

KCPD is investigating the shooting.
