KCPD investigates triple shooting in 6300 block of Agnes Avenue

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police discovered a triple shooting had taken place Friday evening when an officer at a hospital saw the victims in ambulance.

A police department spokesman said the officer was at the hospital on an unrelated call.

The officer notified detectives and others in the department.

Police found out the shooting happened just before 5 p.m. in the street near East 63rd Street and Agnes Avenue.

One shooting victim is on life support at the hospital, another suffered serious injuries and the third has non life-threatening wounds, police said.
