1 man shot to death at home on Indiana Avenue, KCPD says

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man was found shot to death inside a home on Friday morning, according to Kansas City, Missouri, police.

KCPD officers responded to a reported shooting shortly after 11 a.m. in the 5700 block of Indiana Avenue. The man, identified Friday evening as 43-year-old Keith Morgan, was found suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives and crime scene personnel were processing the scene for evidence, a police spokeswoman said.
