KCPD locates 2 missing girls

UPDATE, 10:17 p.m. | Tashawna and Loyalty have been located and are safe.

EARLIER | Kansas City, Missouri, police are asking for the public's help to locate two missing girls.

Kansas City, Missouri, police asked Saturday night for the public’s help to locate 8-year-old Tashawna Tedrow and 1-year-old Loyalty Johnson.

Tashawna is 4 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 80 pounds. She was last seen wearing a silver coat, a pink unicorn hoodie, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Loyalty was wearing a pink onesie.

Police said they believe the girls are with their father, 42-year-old Willie Coty, in a tan Honda Odyssey minivan with Kansas license plates.

The vehicle was last seen Feb. 27 in the area of East 27th Street and Prospect Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
