KCPD seek public's help to ID coffee shop robbery suspect

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect who robbed a coffee shop earlier this month.

Police said that at 8:25 a.m. on Aug. 1, the suspect entered the PH Coffee, 2200 Lexington, and “threatened staff with a gun and took money from the business.”

The suspect was wearing a face mask and a black shirt that appeared to have the word "rock" in large font across the front.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect is asked to contact the KCPD robbery unit at 816-234-5230 or make an anonymous tip through the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
