KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Liberty police believe the two people who died last week at a local RV park had made a suicide pact.

Police identified the deceased individuals as Natalie Jefferson, 20, of Liberty, and Nicholas Rivers, 19, of Gilbert, Arizona.

There is evidence Jefferson and River both died from gunshot wounds “in completion of a suicide pact,” according to a release from the Liberty Police Department.

Their bodies were found around 9:15 a.m. on July 10 at Doc’s RV Park in the 1600 block of Southview Drive.

The case remains under investigation as a murder-suicide.
