KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting Thursday afternoon in Kansas City, Kansas, police said.
The man was shot in the 5600 block of Parkview Avenue, according to a release from the KCK Police Department. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The circumstances of the disturbance, which preceded the shooting, remain under investigation by the KCKPD Criminal Investigations Bureau.
