KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Federal prosecutors say two bank tellers in Kansas City schemed together to replace $100 bills with $1 bills, stealing nearly $400,000 over five years.

One of the tellers, 46-year-old Stacey Lyn Crail, pleaded guilty Wednesday to bank fraud.

Prosecutors say the plan began sometime in 2012 and continued until 2017.

They allegedly stole the money to use "for their own use and enjoyment."

Crail has yet to be sentenced.
