KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City, Missouri man is accused of leaving the scene of an accident after a man was seriously hurt while trying to refuel his vehicle.
Charles Lee Henderson III, 39, is charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
According to the accident report, the victim was attempting to refuel his vehicle on Eastbound US-50 near Country Road NW 175 on Sept. 19. Henderson allegedly struck the victim with his vehicle and left the scene.
Damage to Henderson's vehicle matched the crash scene, according to officials.
Henderson's bond is set at $40,000 cash only.
