KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man died in a shooting early Friday morning on Troost Avenue, police said.
Just before 1:45 a.m., officers responded to the 4300 block of Troost Avenue and found a man on a sidewalk with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, a police spokesman said.
The man was later identified as Tyrone Birdwell, 29.
