Man draws gun during cell phone store robbery

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Police are looking for a suspect wanted in a pair of recent cell phone store robberies.

Around 1:30 p.m. on June 12, the suspect stole money from a cell phone store in the 5200 block of Truman Road. During the robbery, the suspect pointed a black handgun at employees.

Three days later at about 3 p.m., police believe the same suspect pointed a black handgun at employees of a cell phone store in the 2700 block of Van Brunt.

Based on surveillance video, police believe the suspect is between 20 and 30 years old, about six-feet tall, weighs roughly 175 pounds, with facial hair and armed with a black handgun.

The suspect fled the business on Truman Road in a gray Ford Focus.
