Man found shot to death in Clay County; authorities search for woman

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man was found shot to death on Monday night in Clay County, and authorities are working to find a woman in connection with his death.

Clay County sheriff’s deputies responded around 9:10 p.m. to a "nature unknown" call in the 3600 block of Northeast Randolph Road in Kansas City, Missouri.

While officers were on their way to the home, the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department received a 911 call about shots fired near Missouri 210 and Interstate 435.

Deputies found a male dead from an apparent gunshot wound, according to the sheriff’s office.

On Tuesday, authorities said they were working to identify a woman in connection with the homicide.
