KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Gunfire killed a man Tuesday morning outside a Kansas City convenience store.
Police found the victim just after 5 a.m. at the Windstar store at East 17th Street and Grand Avenue.
The suspect ran from the crime scene and was last seen at East 16th and Walnut streets.
He's described as a man wearing a red sweatshirt, black leather jacket, and blue jeans.
Police said he had a green backpack and carried a white plastic grocery bag.
The victim's name has not been released.
