UPDATE 5:15PM 5/10/2017: Two men are facing murder charges for a shooting in Kansas City, Missouri that left one person dead.

Keith E. Spencer, 18, of Tracy, MO, and Dominc E. Pineda, 17, are both facing charges in the case. Both are charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action and attempted distribution of a controlled substance in a protected location.

The victim was identified as Timothy Durden, 18.

According to a probable cause statement, Pineda became nervous after receiving a message from someone looking to buy marijuana. Pineda and two other men armed themselves and waited for the person to arrive to purchase the drugs and a gun battle eventually ensued.
