Man shot Tuesday night in Independence

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A shooting Tuesday night wounded a man at a house in Independence.

Police said the shooting happened about 9 p.m. after a disturbance in the 300 block of North Frandsen Road.

No information was released on what caused the altercation.

The victim's condition also was not released.
