Man stabbed to death Sunday night in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man was stabbed to death Sunday night in east Kansas City.

Police said it happened about 8:10 p.m. in the 4900 block of East 31st Street.

Responding officers located an adult male "who appeared to be stabbed," according to police.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

He was identified as 44-year-old Christopher Quntin.

Crime scene investigators will be processing the scene for "several hours," police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide unit at 816-234-5043 or the anonymous TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS. Police are offering a cash reward up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest.
