KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The westbound lanes of Interstate 70 between Oak Grove and Bates City in Lafayette County are back open after a multi-vehicle crash Monday morning shut down the area.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said two of the vehicles involved were tractor-trailers.
Two people from separate vehicles suffered injuries in the wreck. MSHP said one is in critical condition.
The roadway was closed for several hours.
During the closure, drivers were diverted at Exit 31 (Bates City).
