Officials looking for suspect in Independence bank robbery

Officials say the First Federal Bank in Independence, Missouri was robbed on Saturday morning. 

According to a release from the FBI, a man walked into the First Federal Bank on Nolan Road and displayed a note demanding money. He then fled eastbound on Noland Road.

He is described as a white male between 55 and 60 years old with a thin build. He was wearing a dark jack and dark baseball hat at the time. 

Officials haven't said if he escaped with any stolen money. No one was injured in the incident.
