KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Olathe police are investigating a homicide in the 15900 block of West 127th Street.
Police said officers were called to the location around 2:22 a.m. Monday on a disturbance.
When they got there, they found a 41-year-old man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Later Monday, police identified the victim as Lawrence D. Flaxbeard, an Overland Park resident.
