KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Olathe police are investigating a homicide after a woman was found not breathing in her home.
Police responded to a medical call at about 3 p.m. Wednesday on the 300 block of South Cardinal Drive. Officers found a 75-year-old woman dead in the home. An investigation ruled the death a homicide.
On Thursday, officials charged Raymond McMannes, 51, with first-degree murder and physical mistreatment.
He is being held at the Johnson County Adult Detention Center on a $1 million bond.
