Olathe PD thanks public for identifying suspects

With the public's help, the Olathe Police Department were able to identify two shoplifting suspects from an incident earlier in December. 

Authorities said a man and a woman, took more than $1,100 in electronics from the Walmart located on the 100 block of North Clairborne on Dec. 12, 2015.

They fled after they were confronted by loss prevention officers.

Police described the first suspect as a white male in his late 20s to mid 30s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 170 pounds with brown facial hair. He was wearing a yellow "Tap Out" shirt, camouflage jacket, blue jeans and a Chiefs stocking cap at the time of the incident. 

Police described the second suspect as a white female with short dark hair and was wearing a striped T-shirt, dark pants and white tennis shoes. She has multiple tattoos on her chest and her left and right arms.

The suspect vehicle is described as a silver passenger four-door. Authorities said they located the vehicle but it failed to stop.
