KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Overland Park police on Monday released photos of three men they are trying to identify in connection to the shooting at Oak Park Mall Friday.

On Friday, police said three men got into an altercation outside of the mall and at least one person fired shots as two men were trying to run back into the mall from the food court entrance. Investigators found blood at the scene but never found a victim.

A witness, who was Halloween costume shopping with his nine-year-old son, told 41 Action News he saw three men fighting in the parking lot. He said he saw the shooter drop a baby he was holding to the ground, pull out a gun from his truck and start shooting.

On Monday, police released the images of three men they said are persons of interest in the shooting.

Anyone with any information on the men can make an anonymous tip with the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
