KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An Overland Park man faces charges in connection with a shooting on Saturday in Kansas City, Kansas, that left two people dead.
Isaiah Montez Taylor, 21, was taken into custody after the shooting on the North 57th Street exit ramp from westbound Interstate 70. He was charged with two counts each of first-degree murder and aggravated endangerment of a child, as well as criminal discharge of a firearm, KCK police said Monday.
Police said they believe the shooting, which killed Overland Park residents Talisha Fay Johnson, 41, and Anthony Michael Johnson, 38, stemmed from a domestic dispute.
Two children found at the scene of the shooting were unharmed, police said.
