UPDATE 11/1: Authorities have located the hit and run vehicle and a suspect is under arrest.
Charges have not yet been filed.

Police say a pedestrian was critically injured after a hit and run in east Kansas City.
The incident occurred on East 30th Street and Benton Boulevard. Investigators say a dark Jaguar sedan was spotted fleeing the scene. The driver initially stopped after the incident but left after seeing the victim.
Officials believe the Jaguar should have front end damage.
