1 dead in Blue Ridge Boulevard shooting

UPDATE, Nov. 10. | KCPD identified the victim in this case as 31-year-old Raymond Douglas. Douglas was killed on his birthday.

ORIGINAL Nov. 9. | Kansas City, Missouri, police said one person died in a shooting overnight.

Police were called to the area of 11800 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard around 2:45 a.m.

KCPD said they arrived to find a man shot at the Rendezvous Lounge.

The shooting was initially deemed life-threatening, but the victim died at the hospital.

Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide.

There is no suspect information at this time.
