KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Kansas City, Missouri, are investigating a homicide after a man was found unresponsive in the front yard of a home on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened in the 3700 block of east 56th Street just after 1 p.m.
Officers responded to the area on a welfare call, and located the man with unknown injuries, according Sgt. Jake Becchina, a spokesperson for KCPD.
Emergency responders declared the man, later identified as 32-year-old Alan Young, dead at the scene.
