KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Raytown, Missouri are investigating a threat against a school.
Police said a threat was reported to them by a citizen who discovered an argument between individuals on social media. One person threatened to "shoot up the school." However, police believe that person is several states away.
Police say an investigation is underway and the threat's credibility is undetermined. Police are working with the Raytown School District as they look into the threat.
A release from Raytown police said the department takes "threats of this nature very seriously."
This threat comes just days after Raytown police investigated another threat made on social media. Police said that threat made by a student who didn't want to go to school.
